I have two BK books: I am co-author of Taking Back Our Lives in the Age of Corporate Dominance, and contributing author to A Game As Old As Empire: The Secret World of Economic Hit Men and the Web of Global Corruption.  My passion is peace and economic justice.  I am Co-Director of NotMyPriorities.Org which seeks to decrease the military budget by educating the public through a pie chart postcard showing the Pentagon gets 60% of discretionary tax dollars.  People are then encouraged to mail the postcard to legislators with their three alternative priorities on the back.  I am also very excited about the new Robin Hood Tax campaign whose goal is to get a ½ of 1% tax on stocks and other financial transactions.  I serve on the boards of the BK Authors Cooperative, the Wellstone Democratic Renewal Club, the Storytelling Association of California, and the National Women’s Political Caucus of Alameda North.
