I attended the marketing workshop and these questions seem more than abstract to me. I know that in the moment of sharing ideas, I feel the generosity of my fellow authors. It's very much a sense that we are all in this together. Authors often work in isolation so it's not always easy to remember that we are not alone. Someone else is facing and may have solved the very perplexities that seem to be our weight alone. That's why the marketing workshop and the BK author's retreat are so important. The virtual worl is great and we need to learn more about how to be present with it. Yet there is no substitute for the power of assembling in one space and learning how to be ignorant together.

Post your workshops, seminars and other speaking engagements on the Events Calendar of BKcommunity.com and watch the calendar for live and virtual events from fellow BK authors and buzz them to your respective networks. And use the conversations, blogs, and groups function of this social networking site to share author best practices.
