Creating a World That Works for All
Raining here in Twin Cities this early Sunday Morning. Plans to hit the glorious bike trails around the 10,000 Lakes here in the City of Lakes have been changed to another day where plentiful sunshine is more of a friend than the slippery wet trails creating a "foe" situation. Got me thinking I should revisit my writing for my new online coaching program -geared to the topic of what is the Good Life @ Midlife and Beyond?
The theme of the Power of Purpose keeps popping up in my initial research-it is a BIG theme. Purpose is an essential part of living the good life. Hence the wandering over here to revisit this online Group at Berrett Koehler Publishers. (yes it has been awhile) :-(
Richard Leider, a thought-leader in this world of Purpose and my hero and teacher, frequently poses the question "what exactly is the good life?" Different answers for different people.
Mine? Good question this morning...always good to revisit to make sure we are on target...or need to do a minor tweek or a major purpose overhaul is in order...
Me? Have great health and vitality, a loving family and friends, a sense of fun and curiosity forever and enough money to do what I want, when I want, where I want and with whom I want to be there with!
What is your definition of the "Good Life?"
...here is a classic short video clip from TED Talks...on this very subject with Martin Seligman, noted author on happiness.
