Do you or a colleague have an idea for a(nother) book?

Are you curious about how Open Book Editions fits into BK's mission?

Have you wondered about the world of self-publishing?

Curious to learn more about Open Book Editions, BK's new self-publishing partnership with iUniverse?  Join this conversation on September 20th, 7:00 PM EASTERN TIME to find out why BK created the program, what self-publishing services are available, and the 10 authors who have signed up since the program launched in March. Feel free to invite colleagues and potential authors to join the call.

As background, there are many more aspiring authors who share the BK mission than the company can sustainably publish as part of its traditional publications program. To serve these authors, Berrett-Koehler has partnered with the iUniverse brand at Author Solutions - a leader in the assisted self-publishing field - to offer authors a full-service self-publishing opportunity, with several publishing packages, each featuring an editorial evaluation, customized design, and digital formatting and distribution.

Self-Publishing with Open Book Editions offers authors who share the BK mission many benefits and competitive advantages. In addition to the professional services provided by iUniverse, Open Books Editions authors enjoy an invitation to join the BK Authors Cooperative, manuscript review for potential rights sales, promotion on the OBE section of the BK website, and regular review by BK staff for potential inclusion in BK's traditional publishing program, and BK Book Club membership.

RSVP - If you wish to participate in this call, please send Brenda Price an email at b_r_price@bellsouth.net confirming your attendance.

Johanna, Ben and Jennifer look forward to your joining the conversation and answering your questions about OBE on September 20th.
